The Hotel
Small Rooms, Big Hearts.
58 Alexander Street was built in 1912. We have brought it back room by room, with original radiators, wood detailing and tall windows over the street, mixed with the best modern day perks: wireless chargers, smart TVs, hot showers, great beds and playfully curated minibars.
In our common areas, there is coffee in the morning and giggles in the evening. Settle into one of these lounges with a book, your laptop, or a friend before heading out for the night.
Step outside and you are in the middle of everything. The best morning coffee around the corner and delicious martinis below. The cobblestones and old brick of Water Street. Dinner that turns into cocktails, cocktails that turn into live music, and the mountains and ocean in view of it all.
The city’s best restaurants, galleries, shops and beautiful little corners are all right outside your door. And when you are done wandering, your bed is only a few minutes away.
The Solitaire is four floors, a proper bed, and Vancouver’s most charming neighbourhood at your feet.
Not a hotel chain. A hotel with a story, a very good address, and a key with your name on it.

Water Street, Blood Alley and the steam clock are a two-minute walk. Chinatown and the seawall are ten. Everything worth eating is closer than that.
